Allansfield, located at Rhyll on delightful Phillip Island in Victoria's Western Port Bay, is a place of rest, quiet, refuge and healing.
A Notice Regarding the Closure and
Sale of Allansfield Healing Retreat Centre
We wish to advise that Allansfield Healing Retreat Centre is soon to be closed and the property has been placed on the market for sale.
This decision has not been taken lightly. After careful prayer, reflection, and consultation, it has become clear that we no longer have the capacity to sustainably fund and manage the retreat centre into the future. In light of this, the responsible course has been to close the centre and seek its sale.
Allansfield has been a place of healing, rest, prayer, and renewal for many people over many years. We give thanks for all who have shared in its life — guests, volunteers, staff, and supporters — and for the many stories of restoration and grace that have emerged from time spent here.
We also acknowledge that this news may bring sadness and a sense of loss for many. Places like Allansfield carry deep personal and spiritual memories, and it is natural to grieve when a place of refuge and encounter comes to an end. We hold all who are grieving this loss in prayer, trusting that the God who met people at Allansfield continues to meet us wherever we are, and that the fruits of this ministry will endure in the lives it has touched.

Facilities
Allansfield has comfortable accommodation: 4-bedroom house with a queen bed, a double bed and 5 single beds, 2 bathrooms and there is a 2-bedroom cottage. A chapel in house is available for prayer and meditation and a garden chapel.
We welcome anyone who wants to get away, individuals, families on holiday, church groups on retreat or any small groups looking for a quiet getaway.
The centre is close to beach and spectacular views, peaceful walks are close by and there is an abundance of flora and fauna to observe in the area.
The host in residence can provide linen for guests if required and will seek to provide and maintain a helpful atmosphere, or if you prefer, will remain discreetly absent to allow you complete privacy.
